How to perform

  1. 1.Torso leaned back, feet slightly raised or planted on the floor
  2. 2.Rotate the torso side to side while keeping the back straight

Common mistakes

  • Rounding the lower back instead of rotating through the core

Tips

  • If your lower back complains, keep the feet planted on the floor

Limitations

Use caution with issues in: lower back. If you feel discomfort, reduce the range of motion or swap the exercise — ideally after consulting a coach.
